A ton of abandoned nets removed from the Gulf of Cefalù, this is Mission Euridice.
An entire mission documented by Marco Spinelli, photographer, documentary maker and explorer, who will tell us about this sensational adventure on Friday 22 July at 5pm from the Main Stage of the XMasters Village!
The objective of this mission was to free the most important shoal in the Gulf of Cefalù, Sicily, completely covered in ghost nets: fishing nets that are abandoned or accidentally lost at sea.
A documentary born from Marco's love for the seas and the desire to raise awareness as much as possible about this problem that affects seas and oceans all over the world.
It will be WILD – Message in a bottle, a beautiful glass recycling project for the creation of wonderful bottles and glasses to support the screening of the documentary.
